debt solutions? I've got less than £15,000 worth of debt, so IVA's are out of the question, and I'm currently paying it off through the CCCS. I've had defaults and missed payments etc, but all are 2+ years old and my financial situation has settled down since then. I have a stable, well paid job and good prospects. I wanted to take advantage of summer sales and get a D-SLR on a 6 Month interest free repayment deal. Unfortunately I was rejected, and I'm pretty sure it's because of this remaining debt. Is there a way I can carry on repaying this debt but also work toward ridding myself of the bad credit curse? Usually I'd wait and buy using cash saved, but D-SLR's have a strange habit of getting more expensive as time goes on, and I missed out last summer for this reason, so this time I'm pretty set on getting it while the going's good. Yes, a D-SLR is a priority. There's no chance I'm spending the one life I have foregoing any pleasure to repay debt. That's ridiculous. As long as I'm repaying debt at an agreed rate, which I am, I should be allowed simple pleasures. Did you even read the question? Or should everyone who has a credit card stay in their house, only leaving to buy food or go to work until their balance is zero again? As for D-SLRs getting more expensive; since last summer, the D-SLR's I had shortlisted have got more expensive, even after summer sales reductions and fresh competition. I know, because I've been checking the prices. I wasn't asking for sympathy. Oh dear, I can see this isn't the place for practical solutions. If I wanted self righteous judgement, I'd go to a Christian for advice. As it happens, I'd like some practical advice. If you don't have any, don't answer the question. I didn't think the concept was that hard to grasp.

So, if anyone has worked with this company in the past, or is currently enrolled in one of there programs, please give me a little feedback on if the program is working and if you have had a bad or good experience with them. Thank you.

Miracle Debt Solutions? Hello. I need some help from you guys. See, my parents are in financial debt so they turned to so called http://www.miracledebt.com/aboutus.html for a "debt solution". Is this the right thing to do? Should I tell my parents to stay away from debt solutions like this? My parents won't listen to me, apparently. I'm only 13 btw. It's just that I don't feel comfortable with companies like these. How am I supposed to tell my parents that they could do it themselves? They keep telling me to send their info to the company listed above.
Has anybody ever used Financial Solutions Legal Center to help settle credit card debt? I was thinking of using these people to help consolidate my credit card debt and settle my accounts for less. I have looked them up on the BBB and they have an A rating and there are no complaints. I am still not sure even though all of their paper work looks ok too. I just don't want to get scammed or have any issues...I am a worrier about everything so I want to make sure it is ok. Does anyone have any experience with them or know how much they actually help?
Mt. Everest Debt Solutions...? I was thinking about consolidating what I have in debt and I just got a call from Mt. Everest Debt Solutions. If you have used them, I would greatly appreciate your answers.... When your credit goes down, do they actually fix it when all is said and done? How long does your credit stay bad? Do the creditors really get exactly what they want when you pay less than that? If so, how does that work? Was it any hassle? Is this a farce? I can't think of anything else right now, but if I do, I will either ask through email or edit what I have. Thank you for your time.
Oak View Law -or- Langhorne Debt Solutions which company is better?? So here it is,I got into some payday loan debt upward $3000 and I realize this is something I can't get out of by myself. I have talked with two companies about payday loan debt consolidation and am Unsure which one is the better choice 1- Langhorne Debt Solutions - I would initially pay $389 for the first months payment and $100 (enrollment fee $29.99 after). they won't start my case until this is paid, and then a continue draft of $289 would be debited out of my account to be put toward my debt owed . 12 mth payback Here's their website: http://www.langhornedebtsolutions.com 2- Oak View Law - They don't have any upfront fee's, you determine how much you can pay each month and they take a little out for their fee (till it reaches $500), then it's 20% of the amount agreed upon per debt. 12 mths payback Here's their site www.oakviewlaw.com

Has anyone dealt with Destination Debt Solutions before? I have about 7 payday loans that are currently in default. My troubles started by borrowing from one to pay the other, and so on and so forth. After doing this I realized they were all due on the same date. Panic set in, then I had to try and figure out how to get out of this mess. So I did some searching on the web and came up with Destination Debt Solutions. Looked for any bad feedback on them on the ripp-off report & BBB websites but could find nothing. Has anyone dealt with this company before? Need to know if they are on the up and up.
What is the best way to settle credit card debt? I am in search of a company or method that will allow me to settle or consolidate my credit card debt. What happens if you get out of a debt management program? Im a 22 year old full time college student with a part time job. About three months ago I joined in charge debt solutions because I thought it would be easier for me to manage my credit card bills that way. However now after joining, I'm realizing that Im unable to keep up with the payments Im making to them. It's like after my other bills and this payment are taken out every month, I hardly have any money left and I think I've put myself in a bind. If I leave the program now will this mess up my credit, will it make it harder for me to join a debt management program in the future, will my creditors be resistant to work things out with me in the future because of this? I simply just can't afford to be in the program now.
Has anyone ever dealt with a debt resolution company called payless solutions? I went to their website and it seems pretty good. They state that they can cut my debt in half and pay a small monthly payment to them to reduce my debt. My only alternative is bankruptcy which I'd rather not do. Does anyone have any experience dealing with this company and if so are they a good company? Any info would be appreciated.
How can I research a debt/credit restoration agency to see if they are legit? My husband and I are interested in Gren Path Debt Solutions - we like the fact that they are local to us and can provide face to face financial counseling. They are also a non-profit (although they are a .com instead of a .org??) . However, how can I find out if they are really able to help us? What if they point us in the wrong direction? How can I research the company to be sure we are safe, and not digging ourselves deeper?
Can I get a realistic answer for getting out of debt? I have read and listened to numerous "get of debt" solutions. Are these books for real? The rolling affect of once a credit card is paid off put that payment on the next credit card and so forth? We currently have a $12,000 personal loan that is 21% interest. Our payment is $316 a month but they take out $298 every month in insurance and interest. How are we supposed to get out of this loan if our payment is always taken out from underneath us? We are a one income family. I am also wanting to find some income but haven't had success in finding a NO SCAM stay at home job. Even the ones that were posted to my question a couple of days ago seem shady to me. So....please we are needing some relief before we go under financially with four kids! Help! Any other money saving/earning suggestions? Thanks soooo much! Just for the record.....we don't use the credit cards any more...cut those babies up long ago. We are trying really hard to make the payments on all loans/cards. We pay extra when we can. We also don't want our credit hit again due to the fact we want to move soon. Credit score will drop with each hit. So, refi is out of the question. Credit counseling is a no go as well....damaging to credit in the end. We haven't had a late pay in 14 months but want to get ahead, ya know? We only have $27,000 debt (I say only because that is below the ave of most people) however, it's above our means.
$16k in debt--Solutions? Hi! My husband and I have about $10k in debt split up through 5 credit cards, and personal loan for about $6k. However, we do own a home with a mortgage of only $100k, and are making payments on a car we purchased about a year ago. I have heard that debt programs can kill your credit score by just not making the payments at all, then they threaten with bankruptcy. Right now I am currently looking for a job, but my husband is in the Military. Do any of you have a solution, or know any debt management companies that do not screw you over? We are current on all of our payments, but the debt just became a realization. Thanks.
