1. ah, Geez...I was hoping there would be some answers here already, because I too am so terribly in debt that I chose dial up internet just to stop the calls from coming in seven days a week. Yes, I get recordings on Sundays too! The only thing I could suggest to you is to get a consolidation loan, where all your debts will be paid off, and all you would need to do is make that one payment a month, and TRY to pay more than the minimum, as anything over minimum due will be applied to the principle.. I would do this myself if it weren't for the fact that I am unemployed and couldn't pay the monthly!!! I am surviving on assistance only at this time...Yuck!!
2. When searching for a GOOD company make sure they are a 501(c)(3), have some sort of training or classes included with enrollment and will decrease your interest rates. The classes will help you understand the true nature of debt and help you to use credit wisely. Also, look for a program that will last less than 5 years. Any longer than that you might as well pay it off yourself.
